About Aashwas Socio-Economic Development Society

Based in Dangarkuchi, Barpeta, Aashwas Socio-Economic Development Society is a registered NGO established on November 1, 2021, under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860. Guided by the motto “Welfare for All,” the society operates across India to promote Gandhian values of truth, love, and communal harmony.

The organization focuses on holistic growth through diverse initiatives in education, rural infrastructure, and affordable healthcare. By empowering women, supporting farmers, and protecting the environment, they strive for socioeconomic justice and the preservation of India’s cultural unity.

Our Main Objective

Education and Literacy

Establishing and managing various educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and Distant Education Centres. Providing scholarships and support for students from economically poor backgrounds. Creating centers of excellence for high-IQ students and organizing coaching classes.

Rural and Urban Development

Improving rural infrastructure, such as roads, pure drinking water, and electrification. Motivating rural populations to form Self Help Groups (SHGs) to eliminate poverty. Providing urban infrastructure and “mega cities” programmes focused on beautification and social security.

Health and Welfare

Organizing health checkup camps and vaccination drives (e.g., pulse polio). Setting up Jan Aushadhi stores and Ayush Hospitals to provide affordable healthcare. Focusing on Women and Child Development, including maternity care, orphanages, and old age homes.

Agriculture and Allied Sectors

Promoting sustainable agriculture and fish farming. +1 Setting up Agro Research centers, cold storage, and food processing units. +1 Advancing Animal Husbandry by improving the protection of cows and organizing veterinary services.

Environment and Tourism

Working for pollution control, conservation of flora and fauna, and social forestry. +1 Promoting Eco-Tourism and river tourism as sources of income generation.

Social Justice and Culture

Creating legal awareness regarding acts like the Domestic Violence Act and Right to Information (RTI). Preserving indigenous and folk music, dance, and traditional theater. +1 Providing relief and rehabilitation for victims of natural calamities and riots
